In my childhood, my eating habits will be similar to my brother... I was a copy cat of him, when it comes to food...my brother doesn't eat veggie's or curd... So I will never touch it. Then when I came to hostel for my higher secondary, no other go should eat the food provided in hostel... So I started eating both, but not all veggie...My brother eats all veggie's...
One day he was asking me, your grown this big and eating like a kid avoiding veggie.. Then I said him, all I learnt from you only... He then asked me, how come you have learnt bad things alone and left the good things... Our fight continuous, then dad will be the one to stop and console... Cherishing old memories is always fun and pleasure...
Eating Mor kuzhambu is been my recent addiction, my mother dose it often at home, I have tasted twice, but I didn't like that much.. This is my MIL’s version, and the onion added has a nice crunchy taste…

Sour Curd - 2 cup
Onion - 1
Tomato - 1
Turmeric powder - 1/3 tsp
Lady's finger - 6

To Grind:
Toor Dal - 1 tbs
Channa Dal - 1/2 tbs
Raw Rice - 1/2 tbs
Coriander Seeds - 1/2 tbs
Coconut - 1 tbs
Green chilly - 6
Ginger - 1/2 tbs
Garlic - 5
Onion - 1/4 cup

To Temper:
Oil - 1/2 tbs
Red Dried Chilly - 1
Asafoetida - 1/3 tsp
Mustard - 1/4 tsp
Jeera - 1/4 tsp

First Soak toor dal, channa dal,raw rice and coriander seeds and leave it for at least half hour before you grind.

Then grind all the soaked ingredients along with coconut, green chilly and onion to a smooth paste.

Add the sour curd, ground mixture and turmeric powder and mix well.

Take a kadai pour in little oil add the cut lady's finger and saute well till the stickiness goes out. Then take a pan add in oil add the ingredients under "To Temper"

Add in the chopped onion and saute for a min, then add chopped tomato and lady's finger and saute for 3 mins.

Then pour in mixed mixture of sour curd and allow to boil till it comes to a slight thick consistency, then finally add in curry leaves and switch off.

Here is the yummiest Mor Kuzhambu Recipe for you all to taste,Serve with hot rice or dosa and enjoy....! I love Mor Kuzhambu the next day;)

Don't saute the onions and tomato for long, then you will not feel the crunchiness while tasting.

I have added Lady's finger as veggie, you can  add other veggies also like fried masala vadai, medhu vadai, pumpkin, chow chow

If your curd is not that sour, then squeeze in lime at the last,it can compensate the taste.

Keep Smiling!:)
