My mom, often makes this recipe at home for breakfast... When ever we go for temple visits ,we start in the morning time and my mom mostly packs kadappa with idly for breakfast...
After finishing our
darshan in the temple..me dad, mom and anna sits near the temple pond and have our breakfast and the place near the pond will be so calm and
breeze.... And for me that was the most luxurious breakfast ever had in my life..the
kadappa I have posted is my MIL'S version... This slightly vary's from my moms
version..
And kadappa goes well with idly and dosa...it's my whole family's favorite
side dish for idly..:)And if you haven't tasted it, don't wait.. Give a try at once and
you will also like it..

Notes:
Instead of grinding garlic along with coconut you can crush it and fry along with onion too.
My moms version of kadappa will be white without turmeric, but my Mil adds turmeric,so its your choice , but no difference in taste.
You can also add veggie(cauliflower or potato) of your choice it enhances taste.
I am gonna try this today with idli....
