Chicken -1/4 kg
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tbs
Onion - 1
Tomato - 1
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
Kurma Powder - 2&1/2 tsp
Curd - 2 tsp
Lemon juice - 1 tsp
Water - 1 cup
To Temper(1):
Oil - 1 tsp
Clove - 2
Cinnamon - 1 inch
Bay leaf - 1
Star anise - 1
To Temper(2):
Oil - 1/2 tsp
Garlic - 2 (mashed)
Curry leaf - few
Method:
Take a pressure cooker pour in oil and add the ingredients under "To Temper(1)" and roast well till you get nice aroma from,the spices you added.Then add in onion and ginger garlic and saute well till the raw smell leaves off.
Then add in tomato and saute well till it's mashed and cooked soft,then add kurma,chilly and turmeric powder,saute well till oil oozes out.
Add curd mix well and saute well for 3 mins till oil oozes out,and add in the cleaned chicken,saute well for 5 mins and keep closed for 2 mins,you can see some water oozing out from chicken.Then pour in 1 cup of water or till chicken is immersed.
Then pressure cook up to 2 whistle,Then squeeze lemon and allow to boil till thick,Then pour in oil and add in ingredients under "To Temper(2)" and saute garlic till brown
Add the ingredients to curry and boil for 2 mins.And finally add in chopped coriander.
Notes:
The curry i have made can serve for 2,and i like less spiciness in my curry,so the ratio of chilly powder(1):kurma powder(3).So adjust the spice according to your taste.
If you don't like to add curd to your korma,you can add in 1/2 tomato.Always add less oil when your planning to pressure cook or else more oil oozes out.
